About Me: Hello, my name is Tina Leininger and I am the mother of three energetic children (Carter – age 16; Preston – age 11; and Bailey – age 9). I have been an ac- tive member of the Kenyon-Wanamingo community for the past 9 years, serving on the Lion’s Club and executive boards for my church and the Kenyon- Wanamingo Education Foundation.
My passion for fitness began as I struggled to lose the extra weight that comes with being a mother of three children. Through a combination of circuit training, bodyweight exercise, and healthy eating habits, I was able to shed the extra pounds I had struggled with for over a decade. During this time, I also re- kindled my passion for running. I have completed multiple long distance races and recently finished my first full marathon.
After finishing the marathon, I realized that I wanted to inspire and help others accomplish their full physical and spiritual potential through personal training (You don’t know what you can accomplish unless you try….and have someone there to support you).
I received my certification as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and specialize in group fitness. I am excited to start a running clinic and a boot camp-style circuit training class in the near future.
