Certified Personal Trainer, Certified in R.I.P.P.E.D.
I have had a general curiosity for health and fitness from an early age and have been involved in physical fitness on varying levels for over 20 years. I received a Bachelor of Arts
Degree in Biology and Spanish from the University of MN-Duluth in 2003, with a strong interest in human anatomy and physiology.
In 2010, I attended Basic 1 Zumba training and became licensed to teach and have been instructing fitness classes since then, with a goal of providing others with fun, safe and effective exercise. With a passion for fitness and a love for dance, I helped developed a class called Dance HIIT. Dance HIIT is a class that combines high intensity interval training and dance…a little bit of dance, a little bit of work; repeat.
In December 2011, I graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with my Master of Science Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion and became a Certified
Personal Trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine.
In 2012, I decided to become certified in the will Power and Grace Method, a barefoot training method focused on balance and stability, functional movement and flexible strength and in June 2013, became certified in R.I.P.P.E.D. In January 2014, I earned a Barefoot Training Specialist certification through Evidence Based Fitness Academy and am currently enrolled in the NASM-Corrective Exercise Specialist certification program.
With knowledge of corrective exercise and barefoot training, I can integrate corrective exercise and barefoot training techniques into exercise programs that build strong alignment, posture, core stabilization, balance and flexibility from the ground up and core out, in order to help clients see faster results, move better and feel better. I balance time spent bringing fitness to the community, with spending time with my 4 children and my husband Ian. We enjoy camping, fishing, gardening, cooking, bonfires, movies and a good barbecue!
Certified Yoga Instructor
About Me: I started teaching yoga in 2011 after graduating from an amazing yoga teacher training program from Heartwork Yoga Studio, in Northfield, MN. I have been practicing yoga for many years and finally decided to teach what I love! I enjoy teaching a variety of styles and can create a class to fit your needs. Yoga is a wonderful stress reliever and so good for your health on many levels. You will feel stronger, more flexible and balanced in body and mind! It’s great as a stand-alone practice but a perfect partner to any other form of exercise you love!
I am currently pursuing a long time goal of becoming an Occupational Therapist and love being a student again! This has added to my knowledge as a yoga teacher in many ways and I hope to pair these two occupations in the future! I’m currently also a Paraprofessional working with preschoolers in the Rochester School District. I am married to a writer and competitive runner/skier and we have 2 children.

Philosophy: My life philosophy is “just relax” and “enjoy the moments” “practice peace” and “embrace who you are.” Sorry can’t really choose just one! In a way I feel like teaching yoga could also be called “Relaxation Therapy.” Through yoga I want to empower people to move through life with their relaxation responses turned on, rather than the more typical stress response. Feeling more peace in your own heart and mind effects every interaction you have through out your day in ripples out into the community and world!

Certified Personal Trainer, Specializing in Group Fitness
About Me: Hello, my name is Tina Leininger and I am the mother of three energetic children (Carter – age 16; Preston – age 11; and Bailey – age 9). I have been an ac- tive member of the Kenyon-Wanamingo community for the past 9 years, serving on the Lion’s Club and executive boards for my church and the Kenyon- Wanamingo Education Foundation.
My passion for fitness began as I struggled to lose the extra weight that comes with being a mother of three children. Through a combination of circuit training, bodyweight exercise, and healthy eating habits, I was able to shed the extra pounds I had struggled with for over a decade. During this time, I also re- kindled my passion for running. I have completed multiple long distance races and recently finished my first full marathon.
After finishing the marathon, I realized that I wanted to inspire and help others accomplish their full physical and spiritual potential through personal training (You don’t know what you can accomplish unless you try….and have someone there to support you).
I received my certification as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and specialize in group fitness. I am excited to start a running clinic and a boot camp-style circuit training class in the near future.
ACE Certified Personal Trainer
Hi there, my name is McKenzie Morrical. I have been a resident of Rochester for just over 3 years and have loved living in such an active town! I have been active since a young age and played soccer throughout high school. To help with conditioning I started to train with professional power lifters and was hooked to the strength training side of fitness! Once in college I became greatly involved in the fitness world. I truly love all types of fitness and have so much fun trying new things. My favorites are cycling, strength training and running 10K distances. My husband and I are also love to stand-up paddle board, mountain bike, downhill and cross-country ski, wakesurf and hike with our two active Vizslas, Lucy and Penny!
I am extremely passionate about fitness and am excited to share this enthusiasm with others an ACE certified personal trainer. I recently received my certification in August of this year. I also hold a Basics of Training in TRX Suspension Training and I am excited to incorporate this into my training. I cannot wait to see where this new fitness journey takes me and who I will meet along the way!
My Motto: Aim for progress, not perfection!
