Group Fitness Class Descriptions


Spinning is a heart rate-based indoor cycling class. Spinning utilizes strength, interval, endurance, recovery and race day class formats to provide a wide range of fitness benefits. Everyone will benefit from Spinning and participants are encouraged to utilize Heart Rate Monitors and Rate of Perceived Exertion to personalize the class to suit their individual fitness goals. NEEDED: Water bottle, towel, and heart rate monitor


Tone-N-Tighten develops every major muscle group in an efficiently paced, hour-long workout. This is a total body strengthening and toning class that uses a variety of resistance options. Exceed - For participants who are ready to bring the level of techniques and intensity to an individualized intensity range, while still emphasizing proper form. These classes are best suited for individuals who enjoy physical activity on a regular basis and possess group fitness experience NEEDED: Mat, a set of weights, resistance bands, and water

3-2-1 GO!

Do you get bored easily? If so, this class is perfect for the beginner exerciser to the more advanced exerciser! It started with 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio activity, and 1 minute of abs for 45 minutes! NEEDED: Mat, a set of weights, resistance bands and water.


The title says it all!!! Butts-N-Guts trains and tightens all regions of the lower body and core. This concentrated 45-minute toning class focuses on the abs, glutes, legs and lower back using light weights and body resistance. NEEDED: Mat, a set of weights, resistance bands and water.

Are you looking for exercises that are easy to learn, fun but challenging, with a relaxing atmosphere? If so, then this muscle tone class is for you! This is a great way to get into shape by using dumbbells, resistance bands, stability balls, and your own body weight to reach your goals. NEEDED: Stability ball, set of dumbbells, resistance bands (available through me for $10-$16, two for $20, or three for $25), mat, small towel, water, and change of shoes are also recommended.

Katie will use circuits that include stations and drills such as agility, speed and quickness training, plyometrics, core conditioning, strength training and more. NEEDED: Mat, a set of 5-10 lb dumbbells (pick a weight a little more challenging,) resistance bands (instructor will have available to purchase), and water.


Experience a challenging and dynamic body-sculpting workout using dumbbells and resistance bands. Power sculpting will help you increase strength, blast maximum calories, and transform your body in a minimum of time. You will tone your body and chisel away unwanted pounds to reveal a leaner, stronger you! Katie will use calorie burning combo moves that strengthens several muscles at once for a total-body sculpt as well as working the core muscles! Shuffles, jacks, jabs, uppercuts, hooks, front kicks, side kicks, and much more are included. This workout produces fantastic results and is a great de-stressor! NEEDED: water and towel.


This is a low-impact class to increase your flexibility and freedom of movement, which will help you do more of the activities you enjoy. The stretches that are completed in class are specific and focused, relaxing and soothing, and can help strengthen muscles and improve joints. Strength training for active older adults is a class designed for all adults ages 50+. Strength training is a key component in maintaining overall health for aging bodies. This class is a mixture of resistance and body weight exercises for a fun and challenging way improve posture, balance, and strength.
